Arish Hair Saloon

Our shop is on the New Shivaji Nagar Main Road, right by the Ganda Nala area in Ludhiana. It’s near Chaura Bazar, so you can imagine how much traffic passes by every single day. Arish Hair Saloon is just a small, straightforward place. We don't have any fancy decorations or soft lighting. It’s mostly just white walls and some functional mirrors. The area around the nala can be a bit dusty and the smell isn't always great, but inside we try to keep things as clean as possible. I usually start the day by sweeping out the front and getting the towels ready. We have a few chairs for customers and a small wooden bench for those waiting their turn. It’s a noisy neighborhood with all the bikes and trucks going past to the bazaar. Most of our customers are working men from around Shivaji Nagar who just need a decent haircut before they go to work or head home for the evening. We don't offer any complicated treatments or spa things. It’s just hair cutting and shaving. Sometimes the kids from the street come in and we have to tell them to stay out of the way of the scissors. It’s a busy, messy, real part of the city and we fit right in. We’ve been here for a while and we know most of the faces that walk through the door. It’s just our little spot on the main road where we do our daily work.
