Apna Hair Cut Saloon

Apna Hair Cut Saloon is located right on the Main Road in Abdullapur Basti, Ludhiana. We are very easy to spot because we are right near the Gurudwara Sahib. You can hear the prayers from the Gurudwara throughout the day, which makes for a nice atmosphere while we work. The shop is a typical local saloon for men. We have a row of chairs and big mirrors that have seen better days but still work fine. The floor is mostly covered in linoleum that we sweep every hour or so. Being on the Main Road means there is a lot of dust and noise from the trucks and bikes passing by, so we usually keep the front door halfway closed. We don't have a fancy waiting area, just a wooden bench where people sit and look at their phones or talk to each other. The tea seller from across the street brings us glasses of chai whenever we have a break. We do simple haircuts and shaves, nothing too complicated. Most of our customers are workers from the nearby area or families who have lived in the Basti for generations. It is a busy, dusty, and loud place, but it is our place. We don't need any promotional slogans or big promises. People come here because they know us and they know they will get their hair cut without any fuss. We just keep doing what we know.
