Anshu Beauty Parlour

You can find Anshu Beauty Parlour on Link Road in the Preet Nagar area of Ludhiana. We are right next to Friends Welding Works. It’s a bit of an industrial neighborhood, so you might hear the sound of metal clanking from next door while you’re getting your hair done. It’s not the quietest spot, but we’ve made the inside quite comfortable. I started this parlour in a small room and slowly added more things as I could afford them. We do hair cuts, skin treatments, and bridal work. Ludhiana people love their weddings, so we stay very busy during the winter months. Sometimes we stay open until midnight to finish all the makeup for a wedding party. My daughter helps me with the social media photos, though I don’t understand much of it myself. We have some nice curtains to give privacy from the street. The tea stall across the road brings us chai whenever we need a break. It’s a tough business because there are many parlours around, but our customers keep coming back because they know we don’t overcharge. We use good quality creams and shampoos. The sink leaks a little bit if you turn it on too hard, but we know how to handle it. It’s just a normal, local shop for local people who want to look their best for a fair price.
