Ankoo Beauty Center

Ankoo Beauty Center is tucked away in New Aman Nagar, right by the Body Care Health Gym in Salem Tabri. It's a bit of a specific spot to find if you aren't from around here, but once you see the gym, you know you're close. I spend most of my day inside these walls. It’s a simple setup. We have the usual chairs and the trolley with all the combs and bottles. Since we are so close to the gym, we see people coming and going for their workouts all the time. Sometimes the music from the gym filters in, but we don't mind it much. It makes the day go faster. Working in Salem Tabri is good because it’s a real neighborhood. I know most of the ladies who come in by their first names. We don’t do anything too complicated here. If someone wants a haircut or needs their eyebrows done, they just walk in. I don’t like making things sound more important than they are. It’s just a beauty center where we try to be helpful. Sometimes I run out of a certain cream and have to send someone to grab more, but that’s just how a small business goes. The lighting is okay, and we keep the place as tidy as possible. It’s just me and the work, day in and day out. Ludhiana is a big place, but this little corner feels like home to us.
