Anandi Enterprises

If you head down to Street Number 12 at Jeewan Nagar Chowk in the Focal Point area, you’ll find Anandi Enterprises. It’s right in the heart of Ludhiana’s industrial zone, so there’s always a lot of noise from the nearby factories. Our place is on a corner, which makes it a bit easier to spot, but the street is usually lined with parked scooters and delivery vans. The entrance is a bit narrow, and we have a small desk right by the door where we keep the visitor book. It’s a bit dark inside because the buildings are so close together, so we keep the tubelights on all day long. We’ve been at this spot for a few years now. The walls are covered with shelves that are mostly full of parts and boxes. There’s a small sink in the back where we wash our hands, and the soap always seems to be running out. We get a lot of people dropping in just to ask for directions because the Focal Point can be like a maze. We don’t mind, it’s just part of being in this neighborhood. Usually, there’s a radio playing somewhere in the background, mostly old songs or the news. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a small business where we work hard and try to stay organized despite the constant bustle of Street Number 12 outside our door. It's just a regular workday for us.
