Amit Hair Saloon

Amit Hair Saloon has been sitting right across from Tikona Park in Model Town for a good amount of time. If you know where the ICICI Bank is on that side of Ludhiana, you can find us easily because we are very close to it. The shop address is H.No-47-L, which is easy to spot once you are in the lane. It is a local place where the neighborhood men come to get a shave or a quick trim before heading to work. We have the usual setup with the revolving chairs and the big mirrors that have seen better days. Amit is usually around, making sure things are moving along. On hot afternoons, the fan stays on full speed and people wait their turn while looking out at the park. It is a simple life here. We don't have any fancy machines or big posters on the walls. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so we are always sweeping it up. Neighbors stop by just to say hello even if they don't need a haircut. It gets a bit loud when the traffic picks up near the bank, but we are used to the noise by now. We just do our work and keep the shop open until late evening. There is no big secret to how we run things, we just show up and keep the scissors moving for whoever walks through the door.
