Aman Hair Parlour

If you are looking for us in Ludhiana, we are right by the Lovely Art Gallery in Field Ganj. It is a busy part of town and there is always something going on outside the shop. I started this hair parlour because I liked working with my hands. It is just a basic place where guys come to get their hair cut or get a clean shave. We have the usual chairs and mirrors you see in any local shop. I don't use any of those expensive products you see in big malls, just the stuff that works. Usually, the regulars from the neighborhood stop by in the evenings after they finish their work. We talk about the weather or whatever is happening in the news. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the traffic on the road, so I spend a lot of time cleaning the glass and the floor. The space isn't huge but it is enough for what we do. I try to keep the scissors sharp and the towels clean every day. Some days are slow and I just listen to the radio, but on weekends it is back-to-back people wanting to look sharp for Sunday. Field Ganj has changed a lot over the years but my shop stays pretty much the same. I like the routine of it all. It is just honest work and I’m glad to be part of this community. People know they can just walk in and get sorted.
