Udyotma Agrotech Private Limited is located at 5/697, Viram Khand in the Gomtinagar area of Lucknow. It’s a pretty busy neighborhood, so there’s always something going on outside our door. We focus on the technology side of farming. It’s mostly a few of us working together in a small office space. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re just a local team trying to come up with some practical ideas for agriculture. Lucknow is a great city, but we know how important the farms are in the surrounding areas. We spend our time looking at data and trying to find ways to make farming a bit more efficient. It’s not always exciting stuff. There are plenty of days where we just stare at screens and drink too much tea. We started this because we wanted to do something that felt useful and keep it local. We don't have any big slogans or mission statements. We just try to get the work done. Sometimes things don't go according to plan, or we hit a wall with a project, but we just keep trying different things. It’s a small operation, and we like the fact that we can just be ourselves while we work on these agrotech problems. We aren't trying to change the world overnight, just looking for small ways to help the farmers around here. It isn't always smooth, things break or don't go as planned, but we show up anyway.
