Geplant Enterprises

Up in Sector 2 of Vikas Nagar, you'll find the Geplant Enterprises office. It’s a pretty standard neighborhood, and we’re just another door along the street. The building is older, so the windows sometimes rattle when a heavy truck goes past. We have a small garden patch out front that we try to keep alive, but the sun is pretty harsh during the summer months. Inside, the layout is a bit cramped because we keep adding more storage shelves every time we think we’ve run out of space. There is a specific way you have to jiggle the key to get the front door to unlock, which is something every new person has to learn. We don't have a big staff, so it’s usually just a couple of us sitting at the desks, typing away or talking to someone on the landline. The walls are covered in calendars and old notes that we probably should have thrown away years ago. Tea breaks are a big deal here, and we usually take them together around mid-morning. It’s not the kind of place you’d see in a magazine; it’s just a working office with some mismatched chairs and a printer that jams if you put too much paper in it at once. We like the area because it’s easy to get to, and the local tea stall just down the road makes the best snacks when we’re working late. We usually lock up by six.
