Our office is on the ground floor of the Universal Complex. If you know Lalbagh in Lucknow, you know Valmiki Marg, and that’s where we are at number 8. We are quite close to Noor Manzil Hospital, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us the first time. The ground floor spot is handy because people can just walk right in from the street. It gets a bit noisy with all the traffic outside in Lalbagh, but we are used to it by now. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of paper everywhere. We handle travel bookings and all the small details that come with it. It’s not always organized perfectly, but we know where everything is. Some days are slow and we just sit around drinking tea, but then suddenly three people walk in and the phones start going off. Working near Noor Manzil means there are always people around, so it never feels lonely. We’ve been at this address for a while and have seen the complex change over the years. We just focus on the daily tasks, like checking flight times or sorting out documents for someone’s trip. It’s a regular job in a busy part of Lucknow, nothing more and nothing less. We just keep at it and try to help the people who come through the door without making a big fuss about it.
