You’ll find S R Tours & Travels at 20/76 in Indira Nagar. We’re pretty close to the Sector 25 Chauraha, which is always a busy intersection. Our office is a simple one. We have some chairs for customers and a lot of maps and schedules tacked to the walls. Running a travel business in Lucknow means you’re always dealing with the heat and the crowds. We spend a lot of time talking to people about their travel plans. Some days it’s easy, other days nothing seems to go right with the timings. We don’t use any polished scripts when we talk to people. We just tell them what’s available and what the cost will be. We’ve got a small fleet of cars and we try to keep them in good shape, though the potholes around here make that difficult. The office gets a bit cramped when a few people come in at once, but we make do. We’ve been at this Indira Nagar location long enough that the neighbors all know us. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency in the world. We just want to keep our drivers busy and our customers getting to where they need to go without a huge headache. Sometimes the phones ring off the hook and it gets a bit chaotic, but that’s just part of the job. We keep a diary of bookings and try to stick to it as best we can.
