We set up our office in Jankipuram, over in Section F, near the Engineering College. Parijat Tour And Travel has been running out of this spot in Lucknow for a while now. It’s not a huge office, just a place where we keep the keys and take the bookings. Most of our time is spent on the phone, trying to coordinate drivers and making sure everyone gets where they’re going. Lucknow traffic is no joke, so there’s always some stress involved when a car is running late. We have a few regular drivers who have been with us for years. They know the roads better than anyone. We don’t have a fancy website with all sorts of buttons. Usually, people just call us or drop by the office because they live nearby. We deal with all sorts of trips, from short runs to the station to longer journeys out of town. Sometimes the cars need repairs at the worst possible time, and we have to scramble to find a replacement. It’s just the nature of the business. We don't try to sound like a big corporate travel agency. We're just local people helping other locals get around. It's a lot of logistics and hoping the weather stays clear and the roads aren't blocked. We keep a paper log of everything because that is what we are used to. Our desk is a bit messy with notes.
