Safiya Travels

If you are around Hazratganj, you can find Safiya Travels inside Tez Kumar Plaza at shop G-23. We are right by Sahu Cinema, which is a place everyone in Lucknow knows. It’s a very lively spot to have an office because there are always people going to catch a movie or hanging out at the shops. Our shop is small and filled with the usual stuff you’d expect—calendars on the wall, a couple of computers, and lots of notebooks. We spend our time booking tickets and helping people with their travel plans. It can get pretty hectic on weekends when the plaza is crowded, but we like the energy of the place. We don’t go in for any corporate style of doing things. We just talk to our customers like we’re talking to neighbors. If a flight is delayed or a train is full, we tell them exactly that and try to find another way. Most of our regular customers are people who work nearby or live in the surrounding colonies. They trust us because we’ve been in the same spot for years and they know where to find us if something goes wrong with a booking. We just keep our heads down and do the work, making sure the names and dates on the tickets are right. It’s a simple way to earn a living and we enjoy being right in the middle of Hazratganj’s daily buzz.
