Our place, Sacredearth Bio Energy Farmer Producer Company Limited, is located on Station Road in Nigohan, Mohan Lal Ganj. We operate out of house number 1, care of Prajesh Kumar Singh. It’s a local setup, right near the station, so it’s easy for folks to find us when they get off the train. We are a group of farmers who are interested in bio energy and better ways to use what we grow. It’s not a shiny new building. It's just a regular house where we handle the business side of things. We spend a lot of time talking about sustainable ways to keep the farms going. Nigohan is a small place, and everyone knows everyone else’s business. We like it that way. It keeps us honest. We aren't some big city firm with suits and ties. Most of the time, we’re wearing our work clothes because we’ve just come from the fields or a neighbor's plot. We try to stay updated on new farming methods, but we still value the old ways that our parents used. It’s a balance. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to finish our work by candlelight, but that’s just how it is here. We focus on the land and the people who work it.
