S. L. Crafts

S. L. Crafts is based in Nanpara House, which is number 13 on Jopling Road. It’s an old house that’s been converted into workspaces, so it has a different feel than a standard office block. There are high ceilings and some old wooden doors that sometimes creak when you open them. We like the character of the place. Our rooms are filled with various craft materials and half-finished projects. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where everything is. Jopling Road is a nice area, relatively calm compared to the main market streets. We spend our days working with our hands and keeping track of our inventory. Sometimes people stop by just to see what we're working on. We don't have a big marketing budget or a sales team. It’s just us here, doing the work and sending things out as they’re ready. We’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time, so we know the local shops and where to get the best supplies nearby. The light in Nanpara House is good in the afternoons, which helps when we’re doing more detailed work. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule; we stay until the job is finished. It’s a simple life, focused on making things that people might find useful or nice to have. We’re just happy to be in this old building and doing something we enjoy every day.
