Sri Plastic

Our plots are over at C-4, 5, and 9 in the UPSIDC area on Kursi Road. It’s a big industrial patch on the edge of the city. Right across from us is Asia Public School. In the mornings and the afternoons, the road gets completely blocked with school buses and parents picking up their kids. It’s a lot of noise and shouting, but it keeps the place feeling alive. At Sri Plastic, we spend most of our time around the machines or checking the inventory in the back yard. It’s a dusty environment and the smell of plastic is something you just stop noticing after a week of working here. We have a small office space that is usually covered in papers and little sample bits of material. It isn't very tidy at all, but we know where everything is. The people working here are mostly locals from the surrounding villages. We eat lunch together under the shade of the trees when it’s too hot inside the sheds. We don't do anything fancy like social media or big events. If a customer needs something, they usually just call my mobile or drop by the plot to talk in person. Dealing with the electricity cuts is probably our biggest headache every week, but we have a generator that kicks in most of the time. It’s just a regular factory life for us. We work hard and keep the gates open.
