You can find our office in Triveni Nagar, right off Sitapur Road in Lucknow. We are at house number 538A/366, very close to the big water tank. Most people use that tank as a landmark to find us. We work on the global side of agro-products, which sounds more complicated than it really is. Mostly, we just try to find markets for what’s being grown around here. Our office is a simple place with a few computers and a lot of maps on the walls. It gets a bit noisy because of the traffic on Sitapur Road, but we’re used to it by now. We spend our days talking to people from different places, trying to figure out where the crops need to go. We aren’t a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group of us trying to make sense of the markets. Sometimes things go wrong with shipping or the weather ruins a batch, and we have to scramble to fix it. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big sign outside. It’s just an honest office where we put in our hours and try to do right by the growers. If you drop by, you’ll probably find us mid-conversation with someone on the phone. We don’t mind the long hours because it feels good to see the products finally getting to where they need to be after all the hard work everyone puts in during the season.
