Our company is right at House Number 1 in Nihal Purwa. This is Pawan Kumar Singh’s residence in the Tarabganj area of Gonda. We are the Nihalpurwa Farmer Producer Company. In our part of Uttar Pradesh, life moves at its own pace. We don't have a big corporate building; we just use a part of the house to keep our files and meet with the farmers. It's a small village, so everyone knows where we are. We started this because we saw a need for farmers to have a collective voice. It’s mostly just us sitting around and talking about the harvest and how to get things to market. We don't have a lot of polished speeches or marketing tricks. We just know the land and the people who work it. Gonda is a place where people value hard work, and that’s what we try to bring to the table every day. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but we keep the work moving anyway. It’s not a perfect system, but it’s ours. We aren't trying to sound like some big city business. We are just local people trying to make sure the farming in Nihal Purwa stays strong. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone drinking tea and looking over some crop reports. It’s a simple life, and we don’t try to make it sound like anything else.
