New Awadh Women Farmers Producer Company Limited is a bit different because it is run by the women here. We are based at Parwati's home, who is the wife of Shri Kalpnath. The place is in Kalandarpur Jabdaha. In our part of the world, women do a lot of the farming work anyway, so it made sense to have our own company. New Awadh is our way of standing on our own feet. We don't have a big office or anything polished. We just meet at Parwati's house in Kalandarpur and talk about the seeds, the water, and the crops. It is a practical group of people. We help each other with the daily chores and the farming tasks. Being in Jabdaha, we are a bit far from the main cities, so we have to rely on ourselves. We don't use corporate language because that is not how we speak. We talk about the weather and the hard work it takes to get anything to grow. New Awadh Women Farmers Producer Company Limited is about giving us a voice. It is not always easy to balance home and the fields, but we do it. We are just a group of women from the village who want to see our families do well. We keep things simple and honest. Farming is what we know, and doing it together makes us feel a bit stronger in this life.
