Ishrat Mens Parlour

So, Ishrat Mens Parlour is right over at Burlington Chauraha. We’ve been at this spot on Cantt Road in Lucknow for quite some time. It’s easy to find because we’re really close to Harmain Hospital. Most people know the area. Our shop isn't fancy, just a few chairs and mirrors where guys come to get a haircut or a shave. We see a lot of regulars from the neighborhood. It gets busy on weekends, especially when everyone wants to look decent for work on Monday. We usually have the radio on or people are just chatting about whatever is happening in the city. It’s a simple place. We don’t do any of those expensive spa treatments or anything. Just basic grooming. You walk in, wait your turn, and get your hair cut. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy, but nobody seems to mind. My brother and I started this because we knew how to cut hair and needed a way to pay the bills. The chairs are old but comfortable. We make sure the towels are clean and the scissors are sharp. That’s what matters most in a barber shop, really. If you’re passing by the Chauraha, you’ll see our sign. It’s nothing special, just a place for men to get sorted out. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just show up every morning and open the doors and get to work for the day.
