Aayushree Beauty Parlour

Aayushree Beauty Parlour is tucked away in Alambagh, right here in Lucknow. It is a small place but we keep it busy every day. Mostly it’s just ladies from the nearby houses coming in for a quick eyebrow threading or maybe a hair wash. The mirrors are big and we try to keep the floor swept, though hair gets everywhere when it’s a Saturday. We have a few chairs and some basic machines for doing facials. It’s not like those big malls with the bright lights. It feels more like a home. You can hear the traffic from the main road if the door stays open too long. Sometimes we drink tea together between customers. If you are looking for a fancy spa, this might not be it. But we do the work properly and carefully. We use the same brands you probably have at home in your cupboard. The lighting is okay, maybe one bulb flickers sometimes when the power fluctuates. We’ve been here in the 226001 area for a while now. Most people know where the shop is because of the blue sign we put outside. Lucknow summers are tough on the skin, so a lot of people come for cooling packs. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a couple of us working. It gets loud when friends come in together to get their nails done. We try to be quick but some things just take time.
