Discovery Tour & Travels

You can find Discovery Tour & Travels over in the Faridi Building. We are on Maqbara Road, right in the Hazratganj area of Lucknow. It’s a well-known part of town, very close to the Dena Bank. I’ve spent a lot of my life in this office. It’s a bit of an older building, so it has that specific smell of old paper and bricks. We handle travel bookings for whoever walks through the door. Hazratganj is always moving, so there is always noise coming in from the street. Our office is simple, just some desks, some old maps on the wall, and a few computers that have seen better days. We don’t do big advertisements or anything. Most people find us because they were already in the area or someone told them we were here. We help with trains, flights, and car rentals when people need to get out of the city. It gets quite crowded in here during the holiday seasons. I usually have tea sitting on my desk while I work through the bookings. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We just talk to people like normal and try to figure out their trips. Sometimes the printers act up, which is a pain, but we get by. It’s just a regular local business trying to help folks get from one place to another without a lot of trouble or fancy talk.
