Our address is C-2751 in Rajajipuram, Lucknow, at Umesh Chandra Tripathi’s place, but we are really about the farms outside the city. Devansh Farmer Producer Company Limited is just our way of organizing the local farmers so we have a bit more say in things. Even though we have a Lucknow address, our boots are usually covered in mud. Farming in this part of UP is a constant job. You’re always checking the sky for rain or checking the plants for bugs. We aren't big-shot business people. We are just guys who know the land. We meet up to talk about the price of fertilizer and how to get our produce to the city markets without it costing us everything. It’s a lot of work, and it’s definitely not always pretty. Some days we are tired and frustrated with the way things are going. But we keep at it because it’s what we know how to do. We don't have any mission statements or fancy slogans. We just want to farm our land and get a fair price for it. It’s a community effort, and we all pitch in where we can. It’s not always organized perfectly, but we manage to get things done. We’re just real people trying to make a go of it.
