Delight Travelinks

Our shop is right in the middle of Chowk, which everyone knows is one of the busiest parts of Lucknow. We’re Shop No- 2, right across from the Unity College Gate. You can hear the students shouting and the rickshaws honking all day long. Delight Travelinks isn't a very large place, but it serves our purpose. We have a desk, a couple of computers, and some old maps on the wall that are probably a bit outdated now. People pop in while they’re out doing their shopping in the market. Most of the time, they just have a quick question about a bus timing or a hotel rate. We spend a lot of time on the phone, sometimes waiting on hold for ages. It gets a bit dusty with the door open to the street, but that’s just how it is here. We like being in this part of town because it feels alive. Sometimes we have tea brought over from the stall nearby while we work through a pile of bookings. It’s not a corporate setup at all. We just know how to find our way around the booking systems. When things get hectic, we just take it one person at a time. The office is simple, functional, and it’s been our home for quite some time now. We just do the work and hope the electricity stays on during the peak afternoon hours.
