We are the Daudpur Farmer Producer Company Limited. You can find us at Shiv Balak’s place in Gram Daudpur. This is part of the Ahiyapur post office area in the Vikas Khand Harchandpur region. It’s a community effort more than anything else. A group of us farmers decided to get together so we could have a bit more say in how our crops are sold. We don't have a big corporate office with air conditioning. Most of our meetings happen right there in Daudpur under a tree or in the main room of the house. It's a very local thing. We are all from around here and we know the soil well. Shiv Balak helps keep everything organized for the rest of us. Farming in Harchandpur has its ups and downs depending on the rain and the markets. We just try to stick together and make it work. The name on the paper is long but we are just the same people who have been farming these fields for years. We don't have time for fancy talk or missions. We just want to get the harvest in and get a fair price for it. It's a simple way of living and working. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much but we manage.
