Avadh Tours & Travels

Avadh Tours & Travels is located at 84, Kanpur Road in the Charbagh area. We are basically right between the bus stand and the railway station, which is probably the busiest part of all of Lucknow. Because of where we are, we see a lot of tired travelers every single day. Some people just walk in because they missed their train or the bus was full, and they need a quick way to get to the next city. Our office is a bit worn out because of all the foot traffic, but it stays open long hours to help whoever comes through the door. It’s a very practical sort of place. We have a few benches for people to rest on while we check for available seats or call up drivers. The noise from the trains and the honking buses is constant, so you have to be okay with a bit of chaos if you come to visit us. We don't have any fancy brochures or a glossy reception desk. It’s just us, some phones, and a bunch of ledgers. We handle everything from local taxi bookings to long-distance tours. We know the routes around Uttar Pradesh like the back of our hands. It's not a glamorous job, but it’s important for the people who are stuck and need to get home or to a meeting. We just try to be helpful and get things sorted out fast.
