Ashutosh Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Bhitauli Bazar, specifically at Savitri Devi’s place. Being right in the bazar means we are always in the middle of the action. You can hear the market shouting and the carts rolling by all day long. We got together because the farmers around here needed a way to organize better. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment or a big staff to run things. It’s mostly just a few of us looking over papers and talking to the local growers who come by to check in. The bazar is a good place for us because everyone passes through eventually. We help with getting supplies and trying to find buyers for what’s grown in the nearby fields. Sometimes it gets really crowded in our little space, especially during the peak harvest times when everyone is trying to move their goods at once. It’s a lot of pressure, and things can get a bit disorganized, but we always find a way to settle it. We aren't looking for awards or big fame. We just want to make sure the work we do at Bhitauli Bazar helps our neighbors keep their farms going. It’s a tough life being a farmer, and we know that because we are right there with them. We take it one day at a time and try to stay honest in everything we do. It’s just how we get by.
