Anand Caters

We are located on Sitapur Road in the Mausamganj area of Daliganj. Anand Caters has been operating out of this spot for quite a few years now. The building is right near the main road, so it’s easy for our suppliers to drop off sacks of flour and drums of oil. Most of our work involves cooking for large groups, so the kitchen is quite large and always has something bubbling on the stove. Daliganj is a very traditional part of town, and we try to stick to the kinds of dishes that people around here grew up eating. We have a team of cooks who are good at handling the big coal tandoors. It's hard work, especially in the summer heat, but nobody complains much. We spend a lot of time cleaning the huge metal trays and pots after an event is over. The office part of our shop is just a small desk in the corner with a calendar and a phone. We don't have a website or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find us. If someone has a good meal at a wedding we catered, they usually ask for our number. We just focus on getting the flavors right and making sure the food reaches the venue while it's still warm. It’s a simple business built on hard work and long hours. We’re usually here from dawn until late at night.
