Aks D J is located in Nirala Nagar, right near the Vivekanand Polyclinic at the IT Crossing. Lucknow 226020 is where we spend most of our time. It’s a pretty well-known spot because of the clinic and the crossing. We don’t have a massive studio or a fancy office. Most of our equipment is packed in cases, ready to go to the next gig. When we aren't out at an event, we’re usually here at the base. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always something happening outside. We don’t use any marketing speak or try to sound bigger than we are. We just play music and set up sound systems. It’s a lot of lugging heavy speakers around and checking cables. Our neighbors in Nirala Nagar are used to us by now. We aren't a corporate entertainment company. It’s just us and our gear. We’ve been doing this for a while and the IT Crossing area feels like home. If you’re looking for us, you just look for the Polyclinic and we’re right there. We don't have a mission statement or anything. We just like making sure the sound is right. It's a simple business. We work when people are celebrating, and we rest when the city is quiet. Nirala Nagar has a good vibe for what we do. It’s not about being the most famous DJ, just about doing the job right every time.
