Agam Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are located at House Number 55 in the Navikot Nandana area. That is over in Bakshi Ka Talab, which is part of Lucknow. It is a pretty quiet spot, which we like because it keeps us away from the noise of the main city. We started Agam Farmer Producer Company because we needed a way to organize our farming work a bit better. Most of us have been farming around this part of Lucknow for a very long time. It is not a fancy business by any means. Our office is really just a single room in the house where we have set up a few basic things. We have some plastic chairs and a wooden table where we look at the account books and plan for the next month. Living and working here gives us a good location, but we are not really into the city lifestyle. We much prefer being out here where the air is a bit cleaner and we can see the fields. We try to keep everything very simple. If there is ever a problem or a disagreement, we just sit down and talk it out until it is fixed. We do not have a human resources department or any of those corporate things. It is just a bunch of regular farmers trying to make a decent living. It can be tough sometimes, especially when the market prices are jumping around. But having this company helps us stay a little more organized than we were before.
