You can find us in Hesapiri, which is in the Bethat area of Lohardaga. We are based out of Sunita Devi’s place. It is a very local setup, right in the heart of the farming community here. Most of us involved in the producer company are from these same villages. We know the roads and the fields like the back of our hands. The work involves a lot of coordination between different farmers in the Lohardaga area. We aren't trying to be some big city company; we just want to help our members get a fair deal for their crops. The office is really just a room where we gather to talk about seeds, weather, and transport. It’s a quiet life in Bethat, but we stay busy with the seasonal cycles of planting and harvesting. When the harvest is ready, things get very hectic and the place is buzzing with activity. We handle our own paperwork and try to keep things as simple as possible. Sometimes we meet under a tree if the office is too hot. It is a community effort through and through. Everyone knows everyone else, which makes working together a bit easier. We are just local people trying to make farming work for our families and our neighbors. There is always a lot of work to do, but we take it one day at a time.
