Our small group operates out of Meena Devi’s place, which is right near the Sati Mandir in the Senha area of Lohardaga. If you know the village, it’s not hard to find us. We are just a bunch of farmers from the vill-ps-po-Senha area who thought it would be better to work as a team. Life in Jharkhand means you have to be tough because the land doesn't give anything for free. We spend our days dealing with the crops and looking after the local farming interests. It's nothing fancy, just a room and some storage space near the temple. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Usually, you can find one of us sitting there talking about the seed prices or the last harvest. It gets dusty and hot here, but the work has to be done. We started this to help each other out with the logistics of farming in Lohardaga. Everyone knows everyone else around here, so we have to keep things honest. Sometimes the transport is slow, or the rain is too much, but we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't trying to be some big corporation. We just want to make sure our families can keep farming the way we always have. It takes a lot of effort to keep the books straight and the bags moving, but we are getting used to the routine of it all.
