This is Chulhapani Mahila Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are a group of women farmers from Tikopost in the Kuru Kuru area. Our main point of contact is Indramani Oraon and we are based right there in the village. The pin code is 835213 if you are trying to find us on a map. We have been working the fields here for a long time. Setting up this company was a way for the women in our village to have their own thing. We deal with the crops we grow right here in our own soil. It is a lot of hard work and we are usually out in the sun most of the day. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. We just meet at Indramani’s place when we need to sign papers or talk about the seeds and fertilizers we need for the next season. Sometimes the rain is late and that makes things tough, but we manage. We aren't doing this for any big fame, just to keep our homes running and make sure our kids have what they need. Kuru Kuru is a small place and we are just a small part of it. We talk to each other about the prices and who is buying what. It is mostly just neighbor helping neighbor under a formal name. That is how we operate every day without any big fuss. We take care of the land and each other.
