Sangkaj Steels Ltd.

Sangkaj Steels Ltd. is over at Plot No. K-153 in the Waluj MIDC area. This is a real industrial zone, so it’s all about steel and manufacturing around here. We’ve been in this plot for years. The building is large and made of corrugated metal, which means it gets pretty loud when the machines are running or when it rains on the roof. Most of our day is spent working with steel, cutting it and moving it around. It’s heavy work and you really have to be careful where you step. Our crew has been with us for a long time, and we're more like a family now. You won't find a fancy corporate office here with carpets and air conditioning everywhere. It’s more about the shop floor and the constant sound of the cranes overhead. Waluj is a tough place but it’s where the work is. Shipments go in and out all day long. Sometimes the trucks get backed up at the gate, which causes a bit of a headache for everyone. We just deal with it as it comes. My time is split between the small office and the floor where all the heat is. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or long meetings. Usually, we just look at the orders and get the steel ready for the next customer. It’s a basic business but it’s important for the other factories around here. That’s pretty much the story of our life at Plot K-153.
