Down here in Waluj, specifically at W-35 in the MIDC area, things move at a steady pace. Kirti Pressings has been operating from this shed for years. It’s a typical industrial setup where the heat from the presses is something you just learn to live with. The morning starts early before the sun gets too high, though it’s always warm inside once the machines start their cycles. We deal with a lot of metal components, so there’s a constant clanging and thudding sound throughout the day. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we’ve become a bit of a tight group over time. There isn’t much fluff about how we work; we just take the orders and get to the pressing. The floor layout is simple, designed for moving heavy loads in and out without too much trouble. Sometimes the power goes out in the MIDC, and we all just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It’s part of the routine. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. If you walk in, you’re likely to see someone in overalls first. We keep our tools organized, but the rest of the place looks like a working factory should. It’s about getting the numbers out and making sure the quality is decent enough to pass inspection without any fuss. The work is hard, but we are used to it.
