Vimal Roller Flour Mills

You can find us at 497, Karwan Sahu Road, over in the Langar House area. Vimal Roller Flour Mills is exactly what it sounds like. We’ve got the big machines running most of the time, and there is always a bit of white dust on everything, no matter how much we clean. The noise of the rollers is just part of the background for us now. We work with a lot of grain coming in from the trucks that line up on Karwan Sahu Road. It’s heavy work, moving bags around and making sure the quality is right before it goes out. The air inside the mill is always a bit warm because of the motors. We don’t have a fancy office or a big sign. People around Langar House know where we are because they see the activity every morning. We start early, usually before the sun is fully up, to get the first batch ready. Our workers have been here for years, and they know the sound of the machines better than anything. Sometimes a belt breaks or a screen gets clogged, and we have to stop everything to fix it. That’s just how it goes. We aren't trying to be the biggest mill, just a steady one that does the job every day. It’s honest, tiring work, but it keeps us busy. We mostly just focus on the milling and keeping the equipment running so the bags get filled.
