We are located over on Old Kurnool Road in Kattedan, specifically at 7-3-101 and 102. It’s a busy spot with lots of transport vehicles passing through. Our building is a bit of a maze with different rooms for different stages of making candy and sweets. It’s often very warm inside because of the sugar boiling on the stoves. We spend our hours watching the mixtures and making sure they set right. It’s a lot of manual work, pouring things into molds and then waiting for them to cool down. We aren't a big flashy company; we are just Ruby Confectionery, doing what we know. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor is always getting dusted because of the traffic outside. Our staff is mostly local folks who have been doing this for years. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. We just make the stuff, pack it into boxes, and stack them up near the loading dock. Sometimes we run out of packaging materials and have to wait for the next shipment, which slows things down, but we manage. The office is just a small corner with a phone that rings more than it should. We just keep our heads down and try to get the orders out to the shops that buy from us. It gets a bit chaotic when large orders come in at once.
