We are based out of Plot No. 5 in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, which is part of the Ida Kukatpally area. Our address is 9-271 if you are looking for the gate. At Lotus Poly-Packs, the main thing you’ll notice is the sound of the machines. They run pretty much all day long, turning raw materials into the plastic packaging you see everywhere. It’s not the quietest place to work, but it’s what we do. The air has that faint smell of heated plastic, and there’s always a bit of dust around no matter how much we sweep. We deal with a lot of different sizes and shapes of bags and wraps. Our team consists of local folks who know how to handle the extruders and the cutters without needing much supervision. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. Mostly, we just talk about machine maintenance and shipping schedules over tea in the break room. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend half the day with grease on our hands trying to get it back online. It’s a practical business. We’ve been in Kukatpally for a while and have seen the area change around us. We just keep producing our poly-packs and trying to meet the deadlines our customers give us. It is straightforward work, and we don't try to make it sound like anything more than it is. We just keep the wheels turning day in and day out.
