M P Bakers is located over at 8-61/A in the Ida part of Nacharam. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not exactly a spot for window shopping, but it’s where we get the real work done. We’ve been in this space for a good while, baking and packing stuff every single day. The smell of flour and yeast is pretty much everywhere here. It’s a hardworking kind of place. We don't have a big front desk or a lobby with plants. It’s mostly just the ovens and the storage areas. We started small, just trying to make bread and biscuits that people would actually want to eat. Over time, we got used to the rhythm of the machines and the delivery schedules. Nacharam can get pretty dusty and the roads aren't always great, but we like it here. It’s a practical location for a bakery like ours. We have a small group of workers who have been with us through everything. We don’t talk much about being the best or anything like that. We just focus on the next batch. Sometimes things go wrong, a machine breaks or a delivery is late, but that’s just life in a bakery. We try to keep our heads down and stay busy. If you find yourself in the Ida area, you might catch the smell of something baking. That’s usually us. We’re just regular people making food for the local market and trying to keep everything fresh.
