Konark Refrigeration Industries Pvt. Ltd. is situated at 13-175/2A, 3A&4A Apie in Balanagar. We’ve got a fairly large setup here because refrigeration equipment takes up a lot of room. It’s an industrial estate, so there are factories and workshops all around us. We spend our days working on cooling systems and making sure everything is built right. It’s a lot of technical work, but we’ve been at it for a long time. The office part is just a small corner of the building; most of the action happens out on the floor. It can get pretty loud when the machines are going. We aren’t big on fancy presentations or slick marketing. We’d rather just show someone a finished unit. Being in Balanagar is convenient for us because most of our suppliers are close by. We’ve seen the area grow and change quite a bit since we started. Our team is mostly local guys who know their trade inside and out. We don’t pretend to be something we’re not. We’re just a refrigeration company trying to do a solid job every day. It’s practical, hard work. If you walk into our place, you’ll see people actually working, not just sitting behind desks. That’s the way we like it. There’s always a bit of a draft from the test units, but in the summer heat, nobody seems to mind that at all.
