Our spot is right on the G.T. Road in Miller Ganj, which means there is never a quiet moment around here. If you know this part of town, you know the sound of trucks and the dust that just seems to settle on everything no matter how much we clean. Kidar Nath & Company has been operating out of this location for years, and the building definitely shows its age in a few spots. We’ve got high ceilings and shelves that are packed with all sorts of items we’ve gathered over time. The morning routine is pretty much the same every day—roll up the shutters, get the tea going, and start checking the orders that came in. The tea stall nearby knows exactly how we like our morning drinks, which is a nice little routine for the staff. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the stock, but we know where everything is. People stop by all day, some just to say hello and others because they need something specific for their own projects. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; it’s just a few of us making sure the paperwork gets done and the customers get what they came for. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s just us sitting around talking about the traffic outside. It’s a straightforward business, really. We don’t try to be something we aren't. We just stay busy here.
