Icar-National Research Center On Meat Hyderabad

We are out here at the ICAR-National Research Center On Meat Hyderabad. The place is located in Chengicherla, near the Boduppal Post area. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city center, but we like it out here because there’s more space. Most of us have been working at this facility for years. It’s a research center, so there’s always something going on in the labs or out back. We don’t really have many visitors, but when someone does come by, they usually get lost trying to find the turn for Chengicherla. It’s a quiet part of the outskirts. We spend our time looking at data and doing the practical work that comes with being part of ICAR. The buildings aren’t brand new or anything, but they serve their purpose well enough for what we do. There’s a lot of walking between the different sections. In the mornings, the air is still a bit cool before the Hyderabad heat really kicks in. We grab our lunch together most days, talking about mundane things, not just work. It's a steady pace. We aren't in a huge rush, but we stay busy. Being near Boduppal Post makes it easier for the mail to reach us, which is good. We’re just a bunch of researchers and staff members trying to stay focused on the tasks at hand. It’s honest work. The name is long, but we just call it the center. We’ve been here a long time and expect to stay.
