Ii Engineering

Ii Engineering is located over on Jain Dharmshala Road, right near the Jain Dharamshala itself in Mandvi Kutch. It is a busy enough street, but the shop itself is quite plain. We have been here in the Swamiji area for a good while, mostly just doing what we do every day. The workshop is not much to look at from the outside, just a building filled with the usual engineering tools and a lot of metal pieces waiting to be worked on. You can hear the sounds of the machines from the road if the doors are open. The dust in Mandvi can get into everything, so we are always wiping down the benches before we start a new job. Most people who come by are locals or people visiting the Dharamshala who need something fixed or made. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the equipment. The heat in the afternoon can be quite heavy, making the metal hot to the touch, so we usually try to get the bigger tasks done earlier in the morning. We don't use much in the way of fancy computers; we mostly rely on what we've learned over the years. It is a steady way of life. We see the same faces passing by the window every day. If you are looking for us, just head toward the Dharamshala and you will see the sign. It is a practical place for people who just want their engineering work handled without any extra fuss.
