Site Engineer

Being a Site Engineer based out of F.C.I Colony-2 in Kurnool means I’m usually covered in some kind of grey dust by noon. Our spot at Ho;86/452 in B-Camp is where we keep the tools and some old records, but I’m rarely there. Most of the time, I’m standing in a trench or climbing up some half-finished stairs to check on progress. It is loud work with all the hammering and the machines running nearby. I’ve lived in Kurnool for a long time, and I like seeing the city grow, even if the progress is slow sometimes. People here value honesty, so I try to be very direct about what can be done and how long it will take. I don't like overcomplicating things with corporate talk. If a beam is crooked, we fix it. If the cement is bad, we send it back. It is pretty simple when you look at it that way. The days are long, and sometimes I wonder why I didn’t pick an office job with air conditioning. But then the sun sets, and you see what was built that day, and it feels alright. We just keep moving from one site to the next, keeping things practical and making sure the structures we work on are going to last. No one here is trying to be fancy; we just want the work to be solid.
