Our company is called Bhoosampada Farmers Producer Company Limited and we are based in Gundalanarnoor. You can find us at H. No. 2-168. It’s a small place but it serves us well for what we do. We are basically a bunch of farmers who came together to form this group. Gundalanarnoor is a quiet area and most of us have lived here a long time. We deal with the soil and the crops that come from it. The name Bhoosampada kind of reflects that, focusing on the wealth of the land. It’s not about being rich, it’s about making sure the earth stays healthy so we can keep farming. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just write down what we do and try to help each other out with equipment or selling what we grow. The office at house 2-168 is where we keep our books and hold our small meetings when we need to decide on something important. It’s honest work and it takes up most of our time. Sometimes the market prices are frustrating but being part of this company makes us feel like we have a bit more say in things. We are just local people trying to make a living from the ground. It’s a simple life but it’s what we know best after all these years. There is always something to do.
