Navjivan Primary English School

Navjivan Primary English School sits over at No 7 in Gandhi Nagar, right in the heart of Kumbakonam. It is a small primary school where we focus on the early years of education. The building is not very large, but we make use of every bit of space we have. Since it is a primary school, the halls are usually filled with the sound of kids talking or reciting their lessons. We teach in English, which is what the parents in this area are looking for. The classrooms are simple with small chairs for the little ones. It gets quite hot in this part of Tamil Nadu, so we keep the fans going all day long. Sometimes they make a bit of noise, but no one really minds. When the school day ends at 3:30, the street gets crowded with cycles and parents. It is a very predictable and steady routine that we have been following for a long time now.
