Kpnu Nursery & Primary School

We are located at No 4 on Kubeswarar West Street, right in the middle of Kumbakonam. Being a nursery and primary school, our days are mostly filled with younger children. You can hear the sounds of rhymes and counting coming from the classrooms throughout the morning. The street outside can get a bit crowded with cycles and people heading to the temple area, but inside the school, we keep things moving along. It’s a modest building, nothing fancy, just enough room for the kids to sit and the teachers to stand by the boards. We spend a lot of time making sure the little ones are safe and actually learning their letters and numbers. Kumbakonam has a lot of history, and we’ve been part of this local neighborhood for some time now. Parents often stop by to talk about how their kids are doing or to pick them up after the final bell. We don't have a huge playground, but the children find ways to play in the space we have. The staff here is mostly local, so we recognize the faces of the people walking by every day. It’s a practical setup where we focus on the basics of education. Some days are busier than others, especially when we have to organize the books or get ready for a small school event. It’s just a humble place for kids to start their schooling before they move on to bigger institutions later.
