Nbim School

Nbim School is out in Chithanapalli on Nallur Road. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, and the road can be quite dusty during the dry months. The surroundings are mostly open fields and some small houses spread out. We don’t have the big city noise, which is nice, but it means we have to be more self-reliant. The building is a simple concrete structure with a flat roof. We have a few classrooms and a small office where we keep the records. The desks are basic, and the blackboards have seen a lot of use over the years. We spend our mornings checking the water tanks and making sure the gate is clear of stones. It’s a quiet life here. You can see the hills in the distance when the sky is clear. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most people just know us because they live nearby or drive past on Nallur Road. Sometimes the cows from the local farms wander close to the fence. The wind blows through the open hallways, which keeps things cool even when the sun is out. We do our own maintenance for the most part, painting the walls when they look too grey or fixing a broken latch on a window. It’s just a practical place for the kids in this area to come and learn their lessons every day.
