Kiran Industries

Kiran Industries is down in the Sidco Industrial Area at Sanasandiram. Our address is 2/179 on R.K. Road. If you are driving down that way, you will see a lot of similar small units lined up. We have a modest space where we do our manufacturing. It’s a bit out of the main town, so it’s a lot of industrial sounds and not much else. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually keep the big doors half-closed to stay cool. There are about ten of us working here on a normal day. We aren't big on meetings or anything like that. We just talk over the machines or during the lunch break. The equipment we have is old but it works well because we take care of it. You can see the wear and tear on the floor where we move the heavy stuff around. It isn't a place for suits. We wear work clothes that get dirty fast. Sanasandiram is a busy place for industry, and we are just one part of that big puzzle. We have been here long enough that we know the guys in the shops next door. If we need a specific wrench or some help moving a crate, someone is always around. It’s a practical way to live and work, just focusing on the job in front of us without any fuss.
