We've been out here at Kalukondapalli Village for quite a bit of time now. If you take the Thally Road and look for Survey No 162 or 163, you will find our yard pretty easily. It is a busy spot most mornings. We handle steel building stuff, mostly just putting things together or getting the materials sorted for whoever needs them next. It is dusty work, and the sun gets really hot out on the site, but we just keep at it. People usually come to us when they need a shed or a warehouse frame put up. We aren't doing anything particularly fancy here, just cutting steel and making sure the pieces fit together like they are supposed to. Sometimes the trucks get delayed on the way in, which can be a real headache for the schedule, but that is just how it goes in this kind of business. We have a small crew of workers. Most of the guys live right nearby in the village. We know these roads well. When a big project starts, there is a lot of noise—clanging metal and welding sparks flying everywhere. It gets loud, but it means the work is actually getting done. We do not have a big office with fancy air conditioning; we spend most of our time out where the heavy machines are. If you stop by, you will probably see us in shirts that aren't clean, just trying to get the day's load out. It is not a glamorous life, but we like seeing a building go up.
